Retraction and Withdrawal
JIGC is committed to maintaining the integrity of the academic record. In rare cases where a published article must be retracted, JIGC will follow the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Reasons for retraction may include (but are not limited to):
-
Significant plagiarism.
-
Fraudulent or manipulated data.
-
Fundamental errors in methodology or analysis that invalidate the conclusions.
The retraction process will be transparent: a "Notice of Retraction" will be published and linked to the retracted article, clearly stating the reason for retraction.
