Payroll management is an essential process in an organization because it is directly related to employee rights and institutional accountability. At YPLP PGRI Jambi Province, the payroll process is still managed in a semi-manual manner, which may cause problems such as calculation errors, delays in information delivery, and difficulties in data management. This study aims to model a web-based payroll information system as a foundation for developing a more structured and efficient system. The research method used is system analysis and design with a Unified Modeling Language (UML) approach. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and document analysis to identify system requirements. The system modeling is presented using UML diagrams, including use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams. The results of this study produce a system model that describes payroll business processes, user interactions, and required data structures. The proposed model is expected to serve as a reference for future system development and implementation, as well as to improve the effectiveness, accuracy, and transparency of payroll management at YPLP PGRI Jambi Province.
