This paper informs the thought of Jasser Auda, regarding his commentary on the naskh theory used for the resolution of contradictions between postulates (ta'arud baina adillah). This theory caused debate among experts. On the one hand, naskh is a must-know device, on the other hand, it is assumed that nasakh has limitations in resolving contradictions between verses. Therefore, the concept of naskh is important to be studied further through a new point of view. This paper chose the character of Jasser Auda because he offered a solution through a multi-dimensional system device over the dilemma of contradictions between verses. From this writing it is found, according to Auda, that the definition believed so far as the permanent deletion of verse (ilghā a'-mua'abbad) has no solid foundation. By actualizing multi-dimensional, it is hoped that understanding the Quran is not limited to one dimension in order to find the intentions according to maqāsīd al-Khitāb.
