The focus of this paper comes from two questions. First, How is the Historicity of the “Aksi Bela Islam 212”? Second, how is the relationship between moderate Islam and “Aksi Bela Islam”? This paper was a literature study which was supported by relevant references. The writer used a historical approach in this study. The results of this study showed that; First, the historicity of the “Aksi Bela Islam” does not stand alone, but it was supported by other preceded histories. One of them comes from the jealousy of some Islamic groups towards Jakarta which was controlled by non-Muslims. However, the most important thing was that “Aksi Bela Islam” tended to have strategic efforts in organizing political power as a "movement from below" to bind the public to conservatism as well as building political power through government opposition. Second, NU and Muhammadiyah as a group of "moderate Islam" have contributed to the amount of community participation and interest in the “Aksi Bela Islam”, as a result of the lack of firmness of the two CSOs in responding to blasphemy or “Aksi Bela Islam”.</p> Juharmen Juharmen Copyright (c) 2019 juharmen juharmen http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://e-journal.lp2m.uinjambi.ac.id/ojp/index.php/Kontekstualita/article/view/155 Mon, 13 Jun 2022 00:00:00 +0000 Interkoneksi Nilai-Nilai Melayu Jambi: Teologi Islam dan Spirit Kewirausahaan https://e-journal.lp2m.uinjambi.ac.id/ojp/index.php/Kontekstualita/article/view/510 <p>Islamic theology-based entrepreneurship growing rapidly with the help of the information technology revolution. This materialist understanding only relies on material things and rejects all forms of thought that lead to spirituality. Attitudes of life with a materialist orientation will encourage someone to be consumptive in order to get pleasure and satisfaction. This tendency has permeated most of the world community, including the people of Banda Aceh City. This article discusses consumptive behaviors that tend to be hedonic as a result of the internalization of the values of materialism so that it ignores the socio-religious spirit in the people of Banda Aceh City. Based on field observations and interviews, this article argues that the flourishing of consumptive life behavior will encourage the emergence of denial of religious values and applicable laws so that they need to be eliminated wherever possible in order to create a healthy society from social ills.</p> Umiarso, Syamsul Rijal Copyright (c) 2019 Umiarso, Syamsul Rijal http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://e-journal.lp2m.uinjambi.ac.id/ojp/index.php/Kontekstualita/article/view/1274 Mon, 13 Jun 2022 00:00:00 +0000
