Author Guidelines

 

JSEAIS: Journal of Southeast Asian Islamic Studies

Manuscripts submitted for publication in JSEAIS must be based on recent research, either quantitative or qualitative, focusing on development and innovation to improve the quality of studies in gender and children.

Manuscripts must be written in either Indonesian or English. Language and formatting are criteria for acceptance. Authors are advised to maintain accuracy, including, for example, the use of professional proofreading services. The content may be written in English or Indonesian. The language and style used in the manuscript are part of the evaluation criteria. Authors are strongly encouraged to carefully check their manuscripts or even submit them to a reliable language editor before submission. Authors are fully responsible for avoiding plagiarism in any form. The editors of JSEAIS examine textual similarity using computer software, with a tolerance of no more than 25%.

In general, an article should be between 4,000 and 5,000 words, excluding title, abstract, and references. The article must be typed in Microsoft Word, 1.5 line spacing, Times New Roman font, size 12, single-column format, in .doc, .docx, or .rtf (not PDF). Page numbers are not required. The article should consist of four main sections: introduction, methods, findings and discussion, and conclusion.

  • Dalam APA, Ibid. tidak digunakan. Setiap kutipan harus ditulis lengkap di daftar referensi.
  • Untuk bab dalam buku (seperti karya Iqbal), halaman spesifik harus dicantumkan (pp. xx–xx).
  • Legal documents ditulis dengan nama lembaga atau negara sebagai author.
  • Jika ada tanggal akses, cukup dicantumkan untuk sumber web yang tidak stabil.
