Focus and Scope

This journal publishes scholarly studies on the Qur’an and Hadith with the following scope:

1. Qur’anic and Hadith sciences – including history, methodology, theories, and sanad-matan criticism.
2. Qur’anic exegesis and Hadith commentary – classical, modern, and contemporary approaches.
3. Thoughts of scholars and traditions of Qur’anic exegesis and Hadith interpretation throughout history.
4. Living Qur’an and Living Hadith – expressions, practices, and receptions in Muslim communities.
5. Interdisciplinary and digital studies on the Qur’an and Hadith – including manuscript studies, education, socio-cultural perspectives, and the use of technology.
