About the Journal

At-Tibyan: Journal of Qur’an and Hadis Studies (e-ISSN: 2614-7068, p-ISSN: 2614-5774) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published twice a year (June and December) by the Department of Qur'anic Studies and Exegesis, Faculty of Ushuluddin and Religious Studies, Universitas Islam Negeri Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi. Established in 2019, this journal serves as a scholarly platform for studies on the Qur’an and Hadith from various perspectives, both textual and contextual.

The journal has a particular focus on Qur’anic and Hadith sciences, exegesis and commentary, as well as the intellectual traditions of interpretation throughout history. It also accommodates research on the living practices of the Qur’an and Hadith within Muslim communities, alongside interdisciplinary and digital approaches—including manuscript studies, education, socio-cultural perspectives, and the integration of technology in Qur’an and Hadith studies.
