THE TRADITION OF DELIVER FLOWERS TOWARD THE MONTH OF RAMADHAN IN SENGETI VILLAGE, SEKERNAN SUBDISTRICT, MUAROJAMBI DISTRICT

Abstract

This research is a study of the traditions or customs of Antar Kembang before the month of Ramadan in Sengeti Village, Sekernan District, Muaro Jambi Regency. This research is motivated by the lack of public awareness of the Antar Kembang tradition which they usually do once a year and is a tradition that is still maintained and preserved from each generation to the next. This research uses a qualitative research approach and descriptive methods carried out using interviews and observations by trying to show in general how the inter-flower tradition is implemented in the Sengeti sub-district. From the data analysis, it can be seen that the inter-flower tradition is still carried out in the community of Sengeti sub-district and it is also explained how the stages are carried out during the inter-flower tradition as well as the goals and objectives of the Antar-Kembang tradition in Sengeti sub-district.
