Abstract

Humans are social beings who always interact with each other. As social beings, humans are subject to norms and values that have been inherent since they were born into the world, in addition, every action taken by humans in society expects assessment from others or as a reciprocal action for their behavior. In social and religious interactions in Indonesia, it is very important, considering that Indonesia has the motto Bhineka  Tunggal Ika, which is different but one and consists of several tribes, races, and religions, this diversity is proven by the existence of several religions practiced by the Indonesian people, namely Islam,  Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, Catholicism and Confucianism. Social interaction is very much needed in people's lives to realize harmony between religious communities, for example by carrying out good social relations. The usefulness offield research is to be able to observe and participate directly in research. Research approach  The  research  approach  that  the  author  uses  in  this  study  is  the phenomenological approach because  the author wants  to reveal or understand the phenomena  that occur in  the narcotics community environment in responding to one event. Research setting and subjects Real conditions in narcotics correctional institutions Research location The location of this research is in the class II B narcotics prison in Muara Sabak. The selection of the research setting is based on rational considerations about the existence of a phenomenon that is currently living in the narcotics prison environment.
