VALUE MODERASI AGAMA PADA TRADISI BELASUNGKAWA

Abstract

Religious moderation is an effort to manage religious diversity in Indonesia. This study seeks to discuss religious moderation in the people of Sungai Aro Village. Religion in moderation is reflected in the tradition of condolences in the people of Sungai Aro Village. In research, researchers used qualitative research methods. The data collection techniques that the authors use in this study are through observation, interviews, and documentation. As for the data analysis that the writer uses is data reduction, data presentation and verification conclusions. The results of this study indicate that religious moderation in the condolence tradition in Sungai Aro Village is well maintained, this can be seen from the fact that there have never been disputes and conflicts between religious communities there. Apart from that, the condolence tradition is also going well because they have a high spirit of moderation and tolerance. The mirror of moderation is also found on other anniversaries, such as Hari Raya, Christmas, Maulid, and so on.
