Harakat an-Nisa: Jurnal Studi Gender dan Anak is a high quality open access peer reviewed research journal that is published by Center for Gender and Children Studies, Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (LP2M) UIN Sultan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi. Harakat an-Nisa has published papers related to gender and children issues since 2001.

Harakat an-Nisa welcomes and acknowledges high quality theoretical and empirical original research papers, case studies, review papers, literature reviews, book reviews, conceptual framework, about gender and children from researchers, academicians, professionals, practitioners, and students from all over the world. We publish original research papers, research notes, book and article reviews representing the disciplines, methods and viewpoints on Indonesia and International studies. The journal is published twice a year, June and December. We receive papers in Indonesian and English. All papers are peer-reviewed by at least two respective referees.
